evykassirer fd4246def5 drafts: Append a space to draft when restoring it.
If a user starts typing before they see that a draft was restored,
this makes that experience a little smoother by adding some
separation between the old draft and the new text.

Riken Shah d48de6da08 compose: Restore the last draft when compose box is opened.
Now when the user opens a narrow that has a draft saved for
that particular conversation, the draft will automatically
be restored in the compose box. This will make it easy to
return to a draft after clicking away, and also will make
it less confusing when people close the compose box by
accident. Note that this only restores the draft when
there is a full recipient specified (stream and topic,
or at least one PM recipient).

evykassirer cb3f22c30e drafts: Delete a draft if it is cleared from the compose box.
We used to keep the draft, assuming that clearing the composebox
was an accident. Now we want to delete the draft, in preparation
for auto-restoring drafts when opening the composebox for narrows
with drafts associated with them. If a user opens the composebox
and sees a draft they don't want anymore, clearing the box is a
way we expect them to try to delete it.

Kislay Verma 245357c868 stream_settings_ui: Go to newly created stream.
- On creating a stream, the user is redirected to the
"stream events" topic of the newly created stream.
- If this is the first time the user has created a stream,
an explanatory modal is shown.

test_hotspots.py is modified to account for the new addition
of the first_stream_created_banner.

stream_create.test.ts is also modified accordingly.

Sohaib-Ahmed21 7e99c90190 typeahead: Improve compose topic typeahead behaviour.
Fixes: #29006

We make the following changes:
* Do not show the typeahead menu when there are no matching topics.
* When the typeahead is not shown, pressing Tab in the topic field
should move the cursor to the compose box.
* When the typeahead is shown, pressing Tab should select the
currently focused option (as it does now), but put the cursor at
the end of the topic, rather than at the beginning.

Prakhar Pratyush 590d43f475 mentions: Rename 'stream_wildcard_mention_allowed_in_large_stream'.
This prep commit renames:
* 'stream_wildcard_mention_allowed_in_large_stream' to
'wildcard_mention_policy_authorizes_user' because the function
checks if the sender is allowed to use wildcard mentions based
on the 'wildcard_mention_policy' setting, and we plan to use that
for topic wildcard mentions too.

* 'stream_wildcard_mention_large_stream_threshold' to
'wildcard_mention_threshold' because this value is going to be
used as a threshold value for the max number of subscribers and
participant count allowed for stream and topic wildcard mention
respectively.

Earlier, a 'large @-mention notification' warning that pops up
for stream wildcard mentions was shown for topic wildcard mentions
too, which is incorrect.

This commit fixes the incorrect behavior. We no longer show the
banner for @-topic mentions.

We don't need a banner for @-topic mentions, as those are much less
likely to be used without thinking about it and would rarely be spammy
for a lot of people.

Add a personal menu dropdown that opens on clicking user avatar icon
in navbar added in previous commit.

The args passed to render_personal_menu() in onShow() are returned by

they can be unit tested.

Additionally, added CSS to get a custom arrow for dropdown menu.

Added a `?` hotkey in keyboard shortcuts option in personal_menu
dropdown in a style similar to our tooltip's hotkey by adding
? in a span with class .tooltip-hotkey-hint and adding some CSS.

Zixuan James Li 05a3456581 settings: Use url_template for internal names.
This replaces any "url_format_string" or "url_format" with
"url_template" for the linkifier settings, including HTML ids, template
variables, and etc.

This is not affected by any external API changes.

Zixuan James Li 268f858f39 linkifier: Support URL templates for linkifiers.
This swaps out url_format_string from all of our APIs and replaces it
with url_template. Note that the documentation changes in the following
commits will be squashed with this commit.

We change the "url_format" key to "url_template" for the
realm_linkifiers events in event_schema, along with updating
LinkifierDict. "url_template" is the name chosen to normalize
mixed usages of "url_format_string" and "url_format" throughout
the backend.

The markdown processor is updated to stop handling the format string
interpolation and delegate the task template expansion to the uri_template
library instead.

This change affects many test cases. We mostly just replace "%(name)s"
with "{name}", "url_format_string" with "url_template" to make sure that
they still pass. There are some test cases dedicated for testing "%"
escaping, which aren't relevant anymore and are subject to removal.
But for now we keep most of them as-is, and make sure that "%" is always
escaped since we do not use it for variable substitution any more.

Since url_format_string is not populated anymore, a migration is created
to remove this field entirely, and make url_template non-nullable since
we will always populate it. Note that it is possible to have
url_template being null after migration 0422 and before 0424, but
in practice, url_template will not be None after backfilling and the
backend now is always setting url_template.

With the removal of url_format_string, RealmFilter model will now be cleaned
with URL template checks, and the old checks for escapes are removed.

We also modified RealmFilter.clean to skip the validation when the
url_template is invalid. This avoids raising mulitple ValidationError's
when calling full_clean on a linkifier. But we might eventually want to
have a more centric approach to data validation instead of having
the same validation in both the clean method and the validator.

Fixes #23124.

Sahil Batra cf8d8db132 register: Update the user-registration form for realm creation.
In previous commits, we updated the realm creation flow to show
the realm name, type and subdomain fields in the first form
when asking for the email of the user. This commit updates the
user registration form to show the already filled realm details
as non-editable text and there is also a button to edit the
realm details before registration.

We also update the sub-heading for user registration form as
mentioned in the issue.

Fixes part of #24307.

Sahil Batra 80b00933b1 templates: Add realm information fields in create_realm.html.
We now show inputs for realm details like name, type and URL
in the create_realm.html template opened for "/new" url and
these information will be stored in PreregistrationRealm
objects in further commits.

We add a new class RealmDetailsForm in forms.py for this
such that it is used as a base class for RealmCreationForm
and we define RealmDetailsForm such that we can use it as
a subclass for RegistrationForm as well to avoid duplication.
