This flag was generally used not because we wanted to avoid restarting Tornado, but because we wanted to avoid increasing load the server when all of the clients were told to reload. Since we have laid the groundwork for separately telling Tornado to tell clients to restart, we remove the --skip-tornado flag; the next commit will add the ability to skip client restarts. |

This directory contains scripts that:

Generally do not require access to Django or the database (those are "management commands"), and thus are suitable to run operationally.

Are useful for managing a production deployment of Zulip (many are also used in a Zulip development environment, though development-only scripts live in
tools/).
