This is controlled through the admin tab and a new field in the Realms
table. This mirrors the behavior of the old hardcoded setting
feature_flags.disable_message_editing. Partially resolves#903.
We only use zxcvbn in the main webapp for checking the user's password
in the change password form. Since zxcvbn is a very large javascript
library (~700KB), loading it asynchronously only when a user is trying
to change their password results in a significant performance
improvement for loading the Zulip webapp on a slow network.

Fixes#969
* The warning contains a count of the number of people in the stream.
* An error appears if the warning is ignored and the user tries to
send the message anyway.
* The message cannot be sent until the warning is acknowledged or @all
/ @everyone is removed.
* This only applies to stream messages and not private messages.
Fixes#853.
Whenever a user became active, this triggers an immediate presence
update event (to show that user as active). The implementation for
that event (running on the browsers of all other users in the realm)
would fully rerender the presence list, which can be an expensive
operation in a large realm, just to update the status for that one
user. This fixes that case to just remove the user from the list and
then re-insert it at the appropriate index.
[Commit message expanded with more details by Tim Abbott]
Like the Stream Subject lists, Private messages are now shown
when the user clicks on the "Private message" link. User can drill in
to get more than 5 conversations. Selecting PMs from the user or group
PM lists on the right sidebar also opens the list & highlights the
selected conversation.
[Edited by tabbott@mit.edu to fix some small bugs.]
The previous code was using the same codepath as for real users, which
was unfortunate in two ways:
* It hit the wrong endpoint on the server and thus failed
* It popped up the "remove a user prompt" which described a bunch of
things not relevant to bots.
Because the `owner` field had the class email, we were sending the
concatination of the user and owner email addresses as the email
address in the reactivate requests.

The messages being passed to the handlebars templates were global
messages which we were adding per list details to, show name bar etc.
This causes rendering bugs when you try to rerender a message, because a
different list may have changed it. This commit moves the global message
data to a msg attribute on the message_container which will contain the
per list attributes.

The goal is to have a more data centric piece that can be unit tested.
We also try to minimise the number of one off jQuery DOM updates and
rerender handlebars fragments instead. This will prevent the
message_group and DOM from drifting apart and not being able to rerender
correctly.

Before this change, we were using sequentially generated ids
on the client side to identify streams. Now we just use
the ids from the server. The goal here is to reduce the
confusion of having two different ids attached to a stream.
Also, not that it matters a ton, but this also means that
the browser basically has an immutable id for each stream
that is future-proof to reloads, multiple create_sub calls, etc.
It also a bit easier to grep for ".stream_id" than ".id".

In the first cut at topic zoom, I was re-rendering the
streams list, but this created glitches with orphaned
list items. The reproducible bug was that unread counts
on unshown streams weren't updating.
In the new approach, I keep the elements more permanent, and
I just hide and show them as needed, either through jQuery
show/hide or permanent CSS selectors.
I got rid of toggle_zoom(), so that we just explicitly zoom
in and zoom out in all situations. In particular, when we
narrow, it's more clear now that only stay zoomed in when
we're narrowing to the same stream as before (including topic
narrows within that stream).
When you zoom in, the number of topics is no longer limited
to 30, since that was kind of arbitrary anyway. (In practice,
the number of topics is usually well under 30, anyway, due to
the way we track them on the client.)

The main user-facing feature here is that users can open narrows
in new tabs or windows. Internally, it makes the HTML more semantic.
One consequence of making these elements into actual anchor tags
is that clicking on them no longer triggers this logic to
close the compose box when you click outside of it:
// Unfocus our compose area if we click out of it. Don't let exits out
// of modals or selecting text (for copy+paste) trigger cancelling.
if (compose.composing() && !$(e.target).is("a") &&
($(e.target).closest(".modal").length === 0) &&
window.getSelection().toString() === "") {
compose.cancel();
}
Instead of patching the above code, I elected to just call
compose.cancel() explicitly in the click handlers for the links
themselves.
We are gonna try to clean up the compose-box behavior globally soon.

This change will allow us to test the muting feature on
staging. Any topic named "muted" will automatically be
muted. You can also mute any other topic on the console:
muting.mute_topic('devel', 'ios');
current_msg_list.rerender();
More UI around this experiment will be coming soon, as well
as support for muting entire streams.
The muting module keeps track of which topics are muted, but a
user can expand muted messages, and once that happens, the
messages are marked with the "force_expand" flag that gets
persisted to the back end.
Muted messages are rendered in similar fashion to the summarized
rows, and as part of unifying some of that code, we have
made it so that expanding a summarized section doesn't remove
individual flags related to summaries; instead, the messages
get the force_expand flag set.

One of the ugly parts of message_list.js is how it re-uses the message objects
from the server to hold handlebars template parameters. These objects are
shared between different message lists and re-renders, but are mutated by the
rendering process. The `dom_id` attribute is normally unset on summary rows,
and should not be used in the template. But when a message comes in with a
`dom_id` from another render, it can end up on the summary row, breaking
`rows.get()`.
