Previously we disabled time limit settings for moving
messages when non-admin and non-moderators users were
not allowed move messages as the time limit does not
apply to admins and moderators. And the time limit
setting to delete messages was disabled when all the
users who were allowed to delete their own message also
had permission to delete any message since time limit
does not apply to users who were allowed to delete any
message.
Now, as we use the new UI and allow the permission
settings to be set to anonymous groups, we just do
not disable the time limit setting to avoid complexity
and we anyways mention about cases when time limit is
not applicable.
We previously auto-mocked this out of expediency, but that made it
impossible to test anything that uses the Zod schemata in the same
module.

This should work because all the events are either `change` events or
`click` events on elements without children. This change is being made
to make typescript migration easier, ecause we can type `this` more
easily than `e.target`.
This commit adds new functions which will be used to discard
changes for all the settings in a subsection when clicking
on discard button. This change will help in avoiding code
duplication when they will be used to discard changes in
a subsection if some other user changed a setting in the
same subsection.
We now add a new function to set up the dropdown widget for
settings using new dropdown_widget.DropdownWidget instead of
calling dropdown_widget.DropdownWidget multiple times to
reduce code duplication.
In an unsaved state, when focus is in a textarea or an input of type
text, we don't yet scroll the save button into view to not interrupt the
user's typing. When the input / textarea loses focus, we scroll then if
needed, triggered via the `change` event.
Whenever a setting that needs confirmation to save is tweaked, and the
save button is not visible, we scroll it into view, to ensure the user
does not mistake it for an automatically saved change and misses saving
their change.
Fixes: #29290.
For spectators, the chunk of page_params that originates from
do_events_register isn’t assigned until ui_init.js. That means the
TypeScript type of page_params is mostly a lie during module load
time: reading a parameter too early silently results in undefined
rather than the declared type, with unpredictable results later on.
We want to make such an early read into an immediate runtime error,
for both users and spectators consistently, and pave the way for
runtime validation of the page_params type. As a second step, split
out the subset of fields that pertain to the entire realm.

Some files already were using `noop` in place of `() => {}`.
It's both clearer what it means and is easier to type.
This updates all test files to fully use `noop`, and
adds a shared import from the test lib file.
This commit adds code to colorize the stream privacy icons in
dropdown list widget. Both the selected option in button and
options in the menu are colorized as per the stream color.
Fixes#25282.
We now show the stream privacy type icon for the option
selected in dropdown list widget.
This commit also includes a minor CSS change to make the
web-public better aligned in the dropdown list widget
"Move topic" and "Move message" modal. There is no visible
change for other pages and other icons due to this CSS
change.
Fixes part of #22355.
This lets us simplify the long-ish ‘../../static/js’ paths, and will
remove the need for the ‘zrequire’ wrapper.
