kunall17 d8310724b6 Use absolute URLs in GCM push notifications.
This will eventually allow us to simplify the logic required for the
mobile apps processing GCM notifications.

Tim Abbott 8e47dc73bd avatar: Fix loop doing database queries in register.
Due to the refactoring of the avatar URL codepath that added realm IDs
to the URLs, we ended up calling `get_user_profile_by_email` inside
`get_avatar_url`, which in turns was called in a loop over all users
in a realm.

Needless to say, this resulted in a significant performance problem.

We fix this issue by passing in the data needed to compute the avatar
URL, rather than looking it up by email address.

Tim Abbott 676d4f32fc avatar_url: Fix unnecessary database query.
If we have a user_profile object, there's no reason to fetch it again
from memcached.

adnrs96 3f58e20993 Refactor: Change user_avatar_hash with user_avatar_path at all calls.
In this commit we change user_avatar_hash with user_avatar_path which
now returns paths to avatars based on the email hash.

Tweaked by tabbott to avoid an import loop.

Steve Howell ad24133b94 Have functions in lib/avatar.py use avatar versions.
In some cases here we simplify things by calling avatar_url()
instead of get_avatar_url(), when we have a user_profile record
handy. For other cases we pass in an extra avatar_version
parameter to get_avatar_url(), including from avatar_url().

Brock Whittaker fca61b2031 Add medium size avatars for use on the user's own settings page.
This adds a medium (500px) size avatar thumbnail, that can be
referenced as `{name}-medium.png`. It is intended to be used on the
user's own settings page, though we may come up with other use cases
for high-resolution avatars in the future.

This will automatically generate and upload the medium avatar images
when a new avatar original is uploaded, and contains a migration
(contributed by Kirill Kanakhin) to ensure all pre-existing avatar
images have a medium avatar.

Note that this implementation does not provide an endpoint for
fetching the medium-size avatar for another user.

Max 86fb6467e7 Add annotations to avatar.py, db.py, logging_util.py, unminify.py.
Also, fixed a a small type annotation in users.py because email must
be a string because emails don't support UTF-8 at this time (according
a comment in gravatar_hash in avatar.py).

Tim Abbott e111a2f9a5 [manual] Rename Django app from zephyr to zerver.
This needs to be deployed to both staging and prod at the same
off-peak time (and the schema migration run).

At the time it is deployed, we need to make a few changes directly in
the database:

(1) UPDATE django_content_type set app_label='zerver' where app_label='zephyr';
(2) UPDATE south_migrationhistory set app_name='zerver' where app_name='zephyr';
