This demonstrates the use of BaseModel to replace a check_dict_only
validator.
We also add support to referring to $defs in the OpenAPI tests. In the
future, we can descend down each object instead of mapping them to dict
for more accurate checks.
Adds request as a parameter to json_success as a refactor towards
making `ignored_parameters_unsupported` functionality available
for all API endpoints.
Also, removes any data parameters that are an empty dict or
a dict with the generic success response values.
The main reason why this is needed is because this seems to be
convention and because we can't easily test event creation without
doing this.

If a user doesn't have enable_drafts_synchronization set to True, then
don't let them access the drafts API. This will help protect us
against client bugs accidentally sending drafts to the server when the
feature is disabled.

django.utils.translation.ugettext is a deprecated alias of
django.utils.translation.gettext as of Django 3.0, and will be removed
in Django 4.0.

We always want to do these at the same time. Previously, message
editing did too much stripping (fixes#16837) and failed to check for
NUL bytes.

Then because the ID is now part of the draft dict, we can
(and do) change the structure of the "drafts" parameter
returned from `GET /drafts` from an object (mapping ID to
data) to an array.
