All webhook fixtures in zerver/fixtures/<webhook_name> have now
been moved to dedicated webhook-specific directories under
zerver/webhooks/<webhook_name>/fixtures, where <webhook_name> is
the name of the webhook.
We now show a few new things:
(1) The number of commits pushed.
(2) Who authored the commits (just counts, not which specific ones, for brevity).
Add tests for case of multiple committers.
Part of #3968.
By default, Python markdown tab length for indents is 4 spaces, which
require using 4 spaces or a tab to create nested elements. This
modifies that setting to specify 2-space indentation for nesting
elements only.
Modified significantly by tabbott to limit the change to just list
indentation.
Fixes#4252.
Adds a new webhook integration for Slack to receive messages
from one's Slack team's public channels.
Contains negative tests for broken, missing or invalid data.
Allows two different option for integration:
1. Receive notification on a single stream with different topics
for each of Slack's public channels.
2. Receive notification on different streams for each of Slack's
public channels.
Steps to choose between the two options is described in the documentation.
Fixes#3569.
- Add push, create and pull request event.
- Handle 'opened', 'closed' and 'merged' in 'pull request' event.
- Include tests for all the above events including 'push' with commits
more than limits.
Add a webhook to create messages from Splunk search alerts. The search
alert JSON includes the first search result and a link to view the full
results. The following fields are used:
* search_name - the name of the saved search
* results_link - URL of the full search results
* host - the host the search result came from
* source - the source file on that host
* _raw - the raw text of the logged event.
The Zulip message contains:
* search name
* host
* source
* raw
The destination stream and message topic are configurable: the default
stream is "splunk" and the default topic "Splunk Alert". If the topic is
not provided in the URL, the search name is used instead (truncated if too
long. If a needed field is missing, a default value is used instead.
Example: "Missing source"
It is possible to configure a Splunk search to not include some values,
so I've provided defaults rather than return an error for missing data.
In practice, these fields are unlikely to be deliberately suppressed.
Note: alerts are only available for Splunk servers using a valid trial,
developer, or paid license.
I've added tests for the normal case of one search result, the topic from
the search name, and for a search missing one of the fields used. Tested
using Splunk Enterprise 6.5.1.
Fixes#3477
Use `name_to_codepoint.json` file (and the similar structure in
emoji_codes.js) to map emoji names directly to codepoints and change
the rendered emoji image to `unicode/<codepoint.png>` rather than
`<emoji_name>.png`.
Fixes: #3539.
Adds a new webhook integration for WordPress blogs. Both WordPress.com
and self-installed blogs are supported, with minor differences that
are described in the documentation. It creates a new message for each
action, the stream and topic may be specified or use default values.
WordPress actions supported:
publish_post: a new blog post was published
publish_page: a new page was published
user_register: a new user account was created
wp_login: a user logged in
Notes: comment_post only provides the id of the parent post, not title
or link, so was not included. On further testing, I found edit_post is
not very practical, it also fires while a new post is being written, and
when posts are deleted. (I think it tracks drafts too.) I've removed it,
as it seems more confusing than useful.
Fixes#3245
Previously, if you searched for ':offi..' you would see both 🏢 and
:office_building: as possible completions, both of which are shortcodes for
the same unicode codepoint (and hence which have the same image). Also, we
sort the emoji in our emoji pickers alphabetically by shortcode, and so the
images for 🏢 and :office_building: show up next to each other, which
looks like a bug. This removes :office_building: as a shortcode, along with
several hundred other duplicates. It leaves some duplicates in that won't
give autocomplete or alphabetical ordering a problem, like (🚗,
:automobile:).
Contributor visualization showing the avatar, user name and number
of commits for each contributors. The JSON data would be updated
upon deployment, triggered by the `update-prod-static` script.
Remove events that don't exist.
Move handling issue events to separate function.
Make formatting strings using format function.
Change camelCase variable name convetion to using underscores.
Make unknown events error more clear.
Add issue_event_type_name param to all fixtures.
Updates the HTML docs to match changes to the Desk.com website,
including all new screenshots for the custom action workflow.
Tests four types of messages that could be sent as notifications from
Desk.com. Desk.com allows an account administrator to send any text
in a custom action, so there isn't a standard format.
Custom actions send URL-encoded POST data, the test fixtures contain
URL-encoded text like what could be sent by a custom action configured
as described in the Zulip Integrations documentation to post a new
message to a stream. (See also #2169, errors in this documentation.)
New zerver.tests.webhooks.test_deskdotcom.DeskDotComHookTests:
* Static text: minimal plain text string
* Case updated: activity alert with link to a Desk.com case and message
* Unicode text Italian: activity alert with message in Italian
* Unicode text Japanese: activity alert with message in Japanese
Each posts a new message in the deskdotcom stream.
Tested on Ubuntu 14.04. I created the fixtures with Emacs, I would
appreciate if someone can check that the Italian and Japanese messages
look ok. I used the same text for a live test and it displayed correctly.

Adds additional tests in bugdown-data.json to check that we escape raw
html properly with script tags.
Many of these tests are based on the bleach "advanced" test suite.
Add detailed info (description, source and target branch, assignee) to message.
Change subject to 'repo_name / PR #id title'.
Modify some test fixtures for better coverage.

Fixes: #1883.
In HTML, the line break immediately following a start tag is ignored
(see: https://www.w3.org/TR/html4/appendix/notes.html#h-B.3.1). An
extra span tag has been introduced in the upstream Pygments
HtmlFormatter in order to preserve the first new line. The Bugdown
Tests as well as our fenced_code.js frontend markdown processor have
been updated to reflect this new behavior.
!avatar, !modal_link, !gravatar, etc. were incorrectly being processed
before the escape character for code blocks.
While we're at it, we add tests for these special syntaxes.
Bitbucket changed the format of their API. The old format is still
useful for BitBucket enterprise, but for the main cloud verison of
Bitbucket, we need a new BitBucket integration supporting the new API.
This integration relies on the Teamcity "tcWebHooks" plugin which is
available at
https://netwolfuk.wordpress.com/category/teamcity/tcplugins/tcwebhooks/
It posts build fail and success notifications to a stream specified in
the webhook URL.
It uses the name of the build configuration as the topic.
For personal builds, it tries to map the Teamcity username to a Zulip
username, and sends a private message to that person.
