Creates a shared `disabled_setting_tooltip` class that can be
reused in cases where a personal or organization setting button
or input is disabled and a tooltip is added to give information
about why the user cannot change/access the setting.
This commit removes form-horizontal class from form elements
in custom-emoji, linkifiers, playgrounds, default-streams,
default-user-settings, auth-methods and user privacy settings
templates.
We can safely remove this class because vertical-align property
for input elements is set by other bootstrap CSS and margin
property for text inputs is set in app_components.css and for
checkbox inputs it is set by bootstrap itself.
The display property for inputs other than checkbox and select
elements is set to inline-block by other bootstrap CSS.
For checkbox-type inputs browser sets display property to
inline-block but it is eventually computed to "block" as the
float property is set to left.
This commit removes form-horizontal class from form
elements in alert-words, realm-exports and user-privacy
pages.
We can safely remove this class since there is no select,
input, help-inline or input-append child elements for these
and thus this class is not used for applying any CSS rules.
Disables the deactivate account button in the user's account and
privacy settings tab if they are the only active organization owner.
Adds a tooltip when hovering on the deactivated button to let the
user know why the button is disabled.
The backend already returns an error for self account deactivation
requests if the user is the only organization owner.
Moves the tooltip when email changes are disabled to be shown on
hovering over the email button text and pencil icon. Removes the
question icon that previously showed the tooltip on hover.
Moves the complicated logic in `account_settings.hbs` for whether
to disable the change email button (and show the tooltip) to
`settings_data.ts`.
This update mirrors how similar realm settings are handled,
such as `realm_name_changes_disabled`, and means that the
`realm_email_changes_disabled` bool is added to `page_params.ts`.
Prep commit for moving the email changes disabled tooltip from
a separate question icon to the disabled button itself.
Transitions the frontend of the web app to no longer use the
user status `away` field for setting a user's activity status
to be 'unavailable' (which is now a deprecated way to access
a user's `presence_enabled` setting).
Instead we now directly use and update the user's `presence_enabled`
setting for this feature.
Renames frontend code related to the feature to `invisible_mode`
vs `away`.
We lose node test coverage in `user_status.js` because we are now
using `channel.patch` to send these user setting updates to the
server.
Removes the temporary updates to `server_events_dispatch.py` (and
related tests) made in a previous commit, since we no longer have
or need the `away_user_ids` set.
Adds an API endpoint for accessing read receipts for other users, as
well as a modal UI for displaying that information.
Enables the previously merged privacy settings UI for managing whether
a user makes read receipts data available to other users.
Documentation is pending, and we'll likely want to link to the
documentation with help_settings_link once it is complete.

We show tooltip for user read receipts setting mentioning
that the organization has disabled read receipts setting
when an organization does so. We hide the tooltip when
organization read receipts setting is enabled.
We also fix the alignment of "i" icons with label and headings
at various places by moving it 1 pixel below. There may be
some places where it is not fixed, but those will be fixed
separately.
This will be useful to let users enable/disable
sharing read receipts once we add that feature.
Note: Added "I've" to IGNORED_PHRASES in
tools/lib/capitalization.py to avoid capitalization
errors for the label text of this setting.
Note: These are not functional in enabling/disabling sending of
typing notifications with this commit.
Refactored the privacy settings update to keep the code less
duplicated along with making the addition of new settings easier.
Instead of passing user settings directly as user_settings
variable to the settings templates, we pass them using
settings_object variable.
This change is important so that we can use the exisiting
display_settings and notification_settings template for
realm-level default settings by passing realm-level
settings using settings_source variable.
The presence setting is more suited in 'Account & privacy'
section as it is not related to notifications in anyway
and resembles privacy of user by allowing user to hide
his status of being online.
We separate "Your account" section to two different sections -
"Profile" section for user name, custom profile fields, and avatar
and "Account & Security" section for email, password, role, api-key
and deactivating button.
Another important change here is that the modal for changing name
is removed and now the name has a simple input text box and it
behaves similar to inputs for custom-profile-fields.

We show a tooltip besides "Profile picture" heading
to the users who cannot change their avatar explaining
that the avatar changes are disabled in organization.
We handle the css using email-change-form and thus
there is no need for 'user-name-section' class as
this element is used for emails and not user names.
'user-name-section' class is only used to set css for its child
settings-info-icon. This commit removes the 'user-name-section'
class from elements which do not have 'settings-info-icon' as
their child element and also these elements are in not related
to user names.
This refactor changes two things - position of the modal, as it
is moved up by some amount because of using confirm_dialog and
also loading spinner of confirm_dialog widget is used.
Added Help link widget within account settings for
deactivate account UI modal which redirects to
/help/deactivate-your-account within the user documentation.
Since, we now get role value in person objects sent from server, we
can simply user user_role_map to display role in different places
instead of having multiple if-else conditions to check flags like
is_admin, is_guest, etc.
This allows us to use different "Show password" and "Hide password"
for these labels, which is more consistent with how other products
implement this.
It also lets us delete N duplicate copies of these strings in the HTML.
This reverses the policy that was set, but incompletely enforced, by
commit 951514dd7d. The self-closing tag
syntax is clearer, more consistent, simpler to parse, compatible with
XML, preferred by Prettier, and (most importantly now) required by
FormatJS.

Long labels like "Deactivate xyz" or "Delete xyz" can
be confusing for translators and it can also create bad
strings that can end with like 4 long words in German.
It is better to have the simple options like "Confirm"
and "Cancel". This commit fixes this issue by changing
the text to "Confirm" in their respective template files.

This commit fixes the 'Your account' settings page to show
correct role of organization owner. Previously it was
incorrectly displayed as administrator.

The custom-profile-fields-form element custom_user_field contains
the textarea for Biography that expands. The textarea treats the
user-avatar-section as an disturbing obstacle when expanded beyond
the certain width. To fix this, the custom-profile-fields-form
is placed out from the account-settings-form.
Fixes#17617.
For the email and full name modals we simply change width to max-width.
The password modal used a flex-row class for no apparent reason,
the class wasn't used anywhere else and removing it fixes the UI bug.
Fixes#15311.
Since our translation functions don't support passing a variable into
them and still being found by manage.py makemessages, we need to use
translation function before passing as variable into
image_upload_widget.hbs file.
We fixed the main issue of this form in CVE-2020-9444, but the audit
done at that time only included links found in rendered_markdown; this
change completes our audit for links with target=_blank anywhere in
the codebase.
We can check for the `is_editable_by_current_user` condition once in
the upper level instead of checking twice in middle for the same
conditions and to match the implementation of style realm icon and
realm logo since similar implementation between avatar, logo, the icon
will help us to use `image_upload_widget.hbs` for logo and icon
widgets also.
This likely fixes a bug with the delete text being shown incorrectly
for non-administrator users.
We extract image_upload_widget.hbs from user avatar upload widget.
The plan is to the same HTML template for all 4 widgets (user avatar,
icon, day logo, night logo) across the two settings UIs and different
image upload widgets as possible in future.
This breaks i18n; we'll fix it in follow-up work.
This changes the user avatar image display implementation to more
closely match how the realm icon and realm logo image features are
structured. This is early preparatory work towards sharing this code
between the various widgets.
