Eeshan Garg 5555864e54 docs: Add doc root links to sidebar.
A recent commit (5a94bfcb88)
introduced a couple of regressions:

* The part of help.js that highlights the active page in the
sidebar raised an exception on /help and /api since there
was nothing to highlight for the doc roots in the sidebar
  anymore.
* Moving the doc root links to the header after the logo made
it such that on narrow mobile widths, there was no way to get
to the doc root since the links in the header were truncated.

With a CSS change by tabbott to avoid awkward vertical spacing.

Anders Kaseorg 17749cb608 archive: Remove non-functional archive code.
This removes a bunch of non-functional duplicate JavaScript, HTML, and
CSS that was interfering with maintenance on the functional originals,
because it was never clear how to update the duplicates or how to
check that you’d updated the duplicates correctly.

Sahil Batra 7662b088f5 sponsorship: Fix alignment of inputs in sponsorship form.
All the inputs of form has 'width: 100%' property but then
also the width of inputs were different because of box-sizing
property. The select input had 'box-sizing: border-box' style
but the others did not, so this commit adds this style to
the other inputs - text type input and the textarea input,
to fix the alignment.

Adding 'box-sizing: border-box' changes the actual height of
the normal text type input because the default input height
of 20px set by bootstrap now includes padding and border also,
so we add 'height: 30px' style to make its height same as the
select input.

Fixes #19332.

Aman Agrawal 3c024b2fba portico: Add /for/education, /for/events, /for/research pages.
These modern landing pages cover use cases previously not detailed on
our website. Technically, we had a /for/research page before, but it
wasn't finished or linked everywhere.

Removed "function-url-quotes" stylelint rule
since I need to use quotes in url to use an
svg as list bullet point. There are spacing issues
using it as an image. Also, using quotes in url
is actually the recommended way to do it otherwise
there could be issue with escaping.

- Use cases for companies, open source projects, and communities.
- Miscellaneous pages about the product are now accessible from the

Eeshan Garg 5a94bfcb88 docs: Add proper backlink to the homepage from /help and /api.
Currently, the "Home" link at the top takes one to the doc root,
i.e., /help or /api. This is a little misleading since "Home"
seems to be more synonymous with the Zulip homepage.

This commit adds a proper backlink to the top logo that takes you to
the homepage and renames "Home" to be more specific. The text after
"|" will now take you to the doc root instead (/help or /api). Note
that this allows us to link the /help and /api pages from the
homepage while ensuring that backlinks allow the visitor to get back
to the homepage.

sahil839 d37ddf13a4 registration: Show spinner and disable button while processing.
This commit disables the button and shows a loading spinner on
the button when signup request is being processed to avoid race
conditions caused by user clicking on the button multiple times.

The fix is done observing that for the case when form is invalid
the whole page is rerendered and thus we do not need to remove
the spinner and enable the button again and for other errors
we redirect to some other page.

And for the validation taking place in client-side, the button
is disabled and spinner is shown, only is form is valid, by
using "$('#registration').valid()".

Anders Kaseorg 8f0f0b9e91 styles: Slightly increase monospace font size.
Commit d84727ce7f (#17970) slightly
decreased the apparent size on some platforms depending on which font
was in use before, and some users complained that it was a bit hard to

resolutions, this appears to be a good compromise that increases the
rendered height without increasing the width more than necessary.

Tim Abbott 85b3157b47 css: Fix webapp alert styling incorrectly applying to portico.
In a00f5dd90e, we needed to move the
`alert-box` styles from alerts.css to be visible in portico pages.
However, when doing so, we incorrectly moved all of alerts.css, which
also has styles for `alert` and` alert-error` designed to make it
convenient to include hidden elements for potential errors in the
webapp settings UIs directly in the HTML template (and then use
show/hide to manage them).

We fix this by moving just the alert-box scope to the common
components.css module, which is designed as the place for styles
shared between the webapp and portico pages.

This fixes an issue where the error messages for wrong password and
the like were invisible :(.

Anders Kaseorg 64b78ad992 styles: Use range context queries to eliminate *_max variables.
On a high-DPI display or with a non-default zoom level, the browser
viewport may have a width strictly between md_max = 767px and md_min =
768px. Use only the *_min bounds for consistency.

This requires queries with strict inequalities to express upper
bounds (width < md_min). Fortunately, that functionality is provided
by range context queries. Unfortunately, those are not supported in
all browsers. Fortunately, we can compile them away using
postcss-media-minmax. Unfortunately, postcss-media-minmax currently
subtracts 1px for strict inequalities anyway to work around a Safari
rounding bug. Fortunately, 0.02px should be sufficient for that, so I
submitted a PR:
