Source in pill_typeahead, was intialized in a
very tricky way. In this cleanup, we refactor it
to clearly reflect how source is initialized for
different cases. These changes do not change its
behavior for its current use and solve potential
issues, so that it could be safely used at places
that do not require user pills at all.
In options that we pass to pill_typeahead.set_up we
specify if we want typeahead to support stream or
user_group pills, and use users as source by default.
Using users for source by default, can have unnecessary
suggestions in typeaheads where only user_groups or streams
are needed.
So to solve that, we specify if we want users pill in the input.
This is then utilized in further commits, to clean up hacky code
that deals with intializing source for typeahead.
Placing multiple classes in multiple class attributes enforces
them to override each other css properties. To avoid this
streams_filter_icon class is moved to a single class attributes.
We make the typeahead a little more nicer but only showing one alias
per language. For example if the user searches for prefix "j", then
the typeahead list should contain "javascript" only, and not "js" and
"javascript".
We now organize the pygment language codes into meaningful categories
- default, custom and aliases.
Further the `lang.json` list now contains a dataset extracted from the
"language" section of https://insights.stackoverflow.com/survey/2020
and is prioritized based on current language trends.
On slower systems it may take more than 4 seconds for the
stataus message to dissapear from the DOM, so it's better
to wait for the default duration of 30 seconds before
proceeding.
Thanks to @Riken-Shah for suggesting the fix.
We failed to update this fork for the Django 3.2 upgrade. Unfork it
so that’s not something we need to remember to do.

Commit 1a7ddd9ea3 “Fix
UserActivityInterval overlap bug” introduced a mathematically
incorrect assertion about how intervals work. There’s a third way two
intervals could overlap: both the start and end of the old interval
could be inside the new interval. This probably can’t happen here
because the old interval should be at least as long as the new
interval. However, a correct overlap test can be formulated in a
simpler way anyway.

This is will make it easier to systematically use Django's
`capturOnCommitCallbacks` in tests outside of the main
`test_events` file which involve assertions on events.
Because our mention logic now has a way to distinguish a user with one of these
weird names from a wildcard mention, we no longer need this explicit warning.
(It'd still be a bit confusing, but no more so than various other weird names you could
invest).
Add a helper `run_psql_as_postgres` function in
`scripts/lib/zulip_tools.py`. This is preparatory refactoring for the
work to add custom database and user names.
Having the alert state in the message body is useful when alert topics
are not defined by alert description but encoded in the url.
E.g. in large environments having a topic for each alert [alerting] and [ok] would
make it harder to properly track if an alert has been resolved.
When each alert is in a single topic, so far, the alert state has been missing.
This change will add the current alert state and a fitting icon in front
of the alert name.(Similar to the prometheus alertmanager integration)
The test cases have been amended to cover all possible alert states, even
though realistically grafana only fires the ok and alerting states via
webhook.
We should only keep tests for changing email_address_visibility in
test_realm.py. The tests for checking the value of delivery_email
and email in the user dicts returned by 'GET users/{user_id}'
endpoint according to email_address_visibility should be in
test_users.py and not test_realm.py.
The tests of other realm settings are also arranged in the same way.
This commit makes the test more robust by checking for all
possible values of email_address_visibility and checking
emails and delivery emails values received by different
user roles.
When muted user's message is revealed, popover should have
an option for hiding the message again. But in case if the
popover is already open while message is being revealed then
option for undo reveal in the popover could be out of sync.
To avoid this, we hide the message actions popover before
revealing muted user's message.
Tooltips in message action buttons for failed message were
not shown properly because they were initialized two times
first because of general tippy-zulip-tooltip class and then
because of message_control_button class. So to avoid showing
an extra empty tooltip for failed message icons we return
false from onShow() method of message_control_button class
initialization of tooltip.
This check was not needded as it is possible to have even zero
edit message buttons in cases when a message is fails. So it
raises unncesary errors on hovering over icons of those failed
messages.
