We rework the landing page for companies in the same way we've
recently revamped the landing pages for other use cases.
This implementation unfortunately duplicates a lot of content from
/plans; we should clean that up at some point.
This commit adds more specific screenshots to our events and
research pages. The newer screenshots are properly sized such that
they fit well in a 400px width.
We also move a quote to improve the visual design.
The screenshots we have currently don't really fit into the width
available and the font looks too small. This commit adds newer
screenshots that have been scaled to fit a width of 400px such that
the font is readable with a small amount of content.
These modern landing pages cover use cases previously not detailed on
our website. Technically, we had a /for/research page before, but it
wasn't finished or linked everywhere.
Removed "function-url-quotes" stylelint rule
since I need to use quotes in url to use an
svg as list bullet point. There are spacing issues
using it as an image. Also, using quotes in url
is actually the recommended way to do it otherwise
there could be issue with escaping.
As of Feb 15th 2019, Hipchat Cloud and Stride
have reached End Of Life and are no longer
supported by Atlassian. Since it is almost 2 years
now we can remove the migration guides.
login_context now gets the social_backends list through
get_social_backend_dicts and we move display_logo customization
to backend class definition.
This prepares for easily adding multiple IdP support in SAML
authentication - there will be a social_backend dict for each configured
IdP, also allowing display_name and icon customization per IdP.
There are a few outstanding issues that we expect to resolve beforce
including this in a release, but this is good checkpoint to merge.
This PR is a collaboration with Tim Abbott.
Fixes#716.
The border radius is a compromise between:
* Windows: no border radius on windows
* Mac: border radius top and bottom
* Ubuntu: border radius only on top
Ideally the image itself would just have border radius matching the OS, but
that's a bit tricky to do in the image editing software I'm using.
Adblock Plus's "Block social media icons tracking" setting blocks
images with for social media platforms in their names from loading, so
we rename the Google logo to bypass this.
This is a redesign of the features landing page from the current style
that includes the new sections in a grid format as well as some new
high-quality sections.
Can be added to the landing pages via:
+ {% include 'zerver/compare.html' %}
+
I'm avoiding adding that include into the landing pages until we have
time to do a bit of tweaking of the styling to integrate better into
/hello/ (primarily color-wise).
Most of the work for this was done by Brock, huge thanks to him!
There appears to be an issue in which on production the
./landing-page/assets folder is excluded from the build process,
so move it to the parent folder to fix the assets to appear in
production.
