Sahil Batra 1f16c0fdb7 popovers: Increase contrast of deactivated information text.
This commit increases the contrast for "This user has been deactivated"
text in user popover and "This group has been deactivated" text in
group popover in both light and dark mode by making the opacity 1 as
this is important information and should be clearly visible.

The text color and opacity matches with the role text shown in user
popover.

Karl Stolley da91ebc592 checkboxes: Render border-color-matched SVGs in light and dark modes.
This obviates the need for the buggy use of a brightness filter,
which causes rendering problems on iOS devices and possibly others.

Sanchit Sharma 671946351c settings: Improve visibility of "Enter Sends Message" setting.
Addresses user research feedback by duplicating the "Enter Sends
Message" setting in the Settings > Preferences menu, specifically within
the General section, ensuring users can easily locate and configure
this option.

server_events_dispatch: Remove break statement.
The settings page needs to be updated when
`enter_sends` property is updated.

css: Update vertical-align to middle for the checkbox element.

Sahil Batra 6607db8a1c dropdown_list_widget: Fix fading transition during focus.
This commit sets the transition to "none" for the dropdown
list widget element during focus to remove a weird fade-in
effect. We have to set this to none as the existing CSS
sets transition for all button elements inside ".new-style"
div. This commit adds the CSS for select element too,
as both are using same CSS, but since there was no transition
effect for select elements before as well, we can do this
change safely.

Anders Kaseorg d274583d8f styles: Use modern color notation.
postcss-preset-env transpiles this back as necessary. (It does a
better job than we did, in fact: we had several four-argument hsl()
calls that should have been hsla().)

Tim Abbott d3152800a6 css: Refactor Tippy popover CSS.
The CSS for our first Tippy popover, actions_popover, incorrectly did
not split the CSS that is meant to be applied to all popovers from
that CSS that is only for that specific popover.

Reorganize this with some clarifying comments.

Anders Kaseorg 5cdf38b1f7 styles: Use standard CSS nesting syntax.
CSS nesting is being standardized with the syntactic restriction that
the nested selector cannot start with an identifier. This was
necessary to allow the syntax to be parsed without lookahead.

https://webkit.org/blog/13813/try-css-nesting-today-in-safari-technology-preview/
https://www.w3.org/TR/css-nesting-1/#syntax

The postcss-nesting plugin used by postcss-preset-env enforces this
restriction.

Sahil Batra 07f7089cf3 settings: Add bootstrap CSS to label.checkbox elements.
This commit adds min-height property added by bootstrap
to the label.checkbox elements in components.css.
We do not need to add padding-left property added by
bootstrap since we already set padding to 0.

After adding this CSS, we can safely remove the CSS from
bootstrap.css.

Anders Kaseorg c1675913a2 web: Move web app to ‘web’ directory.
Ever since we started bundling the app with webpack, there’s been less
and less overlap between our ‘static’ directory (files belonging to
the frontend app) and Django’s interpretation of the ‘static’
directory (files served directly to the web).

Split the app out to its own ‘web’ directory outside of ‘static’, and
remove all the custom collectstatic --ignore rules. This makes it
much clearer what’s actually being served to the web, and what’s being
bundled by webpack. It also shrinks the release tarball by 3%.
