The `tabbed_instructions` widget used for both language toggles in our
API documentation and app toggles in our Help Center documentation
misleadingly calls the identifier for the tab `language` in local
variables and its interface.
- Renames local variables `language` -> `tab_key`.
- Renames HTML data attributes `data-language` -> `data-tab-key`.

This fixes the issue where 'None' would appear in the rendered
html in case of a missing tab display_name. Now,
'test-help-documentation' will fail in case of any tab display_name
being missing.
In case of a tab_section with no tabs, currently a single tab with
the name 'null_tab' gets added. Added the display name 'None' for
'null_tab', to keep in line with the existing behaviour.

Regenerated by tabbott with `lint --fix` after a rebase and change in
parameters.
Note from tabbott: In a few cases, this converts technical debt in the
form of unsorted imports into different technical debt in the form of
our largest files having very long, ugly import sequences at the
start. I expect this change will increase pressure for us to split
those files, which isn't a bad thing.

This code was very useful when first implemented to help catch errors
where our backend templates didn't render, but has been superceded by
the success of our URL coverage testing (which ensures every URL
supported by Zulip's urls.py is accessed by our tests, with a few
exceptions) and other tests covering all of the emails Zulip sends.
It has a significant maintenance cost because it's a bit hacky and
involves generating fake context, so it makes sense to remove these.
Any future coverage issues with templates should be addressed with a
direct test that just accessing the relevant URL or sends the relevant
email.
We currently have code to calculate the value of realm_icon_url,
admin_emails and default_discount in two diffrent places. With
the addition of showing confirmation links it would become three.
The easiest way to deduplicate the code and make the view cleaner
is by doing the calculations in template. Alternatively one can
write a function that takes users, realms and confirmations as
arguments and sets the value of realm_icon_url, admin_emails and
default_discount appropriately in realm object according to the
type of the confirmation. But that seems more messy than passing
the functions directly to template approach.
For the emails that are associated to an existing account in an
organisation, the avatars will be displayed in the email selection
page. This includes avatar data in what is passed to the page.
Added `avatar_urls` to the context in `test_templates.py`.

If MAX_FILE_UPLOAD_SIZE is set to 0, then UI elements like the upload
icon in the compose and message edit UI and "Attachments" menu in
"/#settings" are not displayed.
A different error message is also displayed if a user tries to drag and
drop or paste a file into the compose message box.
Fixes#12152.
This changes the border-radius to 6px for the tabbed display, which is not
in line with the current Zulip style for border-radius (4px). However 6px
really looks a lot better for this (possibly because it's a bigger box than
most of our other boxes?)
This reverts the temporary fix done in commit
46f4e58782 and replaced it with the fix that
non-admins should be able to see a dropdown to select a non-admin type of
invited user i.e. normal member or guest user.
This commit adds a custom Markdown include extension which is
identical to the original except when a macro file can't
be found, it raises a custom JsonableError exception, which
we can catch and then trigger an appropriate test failure.
Fixes: #10947
Apparently, when we renamed these files to no longer have a .txt
extension, we accidentally removed them from the set of strings for
translation, because `manage.py makemessages` by default only
processes .txt and .html files under the templates/ directory.
Fix this by adding a .txt extension.
We've been getting reports from users that our Freshdesk webhook
isn't working correctly. It turns out that the issue had nothing
to do with the webhook implementation itself!
In freshdesk/doc.md, we have a JSON template we ask users to
copy/paste into a textbox in the Freshdesk UI. That JSON template
contains "{{" and "}}" characters which we escaped as Unicode
decimals to prevent clashes with Jinja2 syntax in other parts
of the same template. This worked for a while!
But thanks to the changes introduced as part of the
nested_code_blocks extension, such escaped characters were never
decoded, leading users to copy/paste the same template but with
raw escaped unicode representations of "{{" and "}}" inside. And
that eventually broke our webhook implementation.
This commit makes sure that such characters are properly "unescaped",
just for Freshdesk docs.
In certain cases we have to load a template directly because it
isn't in Jinja2's recognized template directories. This commit
adds a test to make sure that absolute paths are recognized
if they are pure Markdown files.
This commit adds a Markdown tree-processor extension that renders
multi-line code blocks that are nested inside lists with the
formatting. Note that the code block could be nested inside multiple
list levels and would still get rendered correctly.
Tim: This fixes the need for unpleasant workarounds like
f5bfa4e793 and makes nested code blocks
in our documentation look exactly how users would expect them to.
The only changes visible at the AST level, checked using
https://github.com/asottile/astpretty, are
zerver/lib/test_fixtures.py:
'\x1b\\[(1|0)m' ↦ '\\x1b\\[(1|0)m'
'\\[[X| ]\\] (\\d+_.+)\n' ↦ '\\[[X| ]\\] (\\d+_.+)\\n'
which is fine because re treats '\\x1b' and '\\n' the same way as
'\x1b' and '\n'.

In templates/zerver/api/main.html, since the current context isn't
passed to render_markdown_path when rendering an article,
render_markdown_path doesn't have the context to render values such
as api_url. This commit makes sure that it does by passing a dict
called api_uri_context to render_markdown_path when rendering an
article.
