Tim Abbott 8bc511d24e Re-initialize the markdown engine every 30 messages. 
Otherwise, the performance leak associated with highlighted code can
cause get_updates to become increasingly slow.

Zev Benjamin bc4487ebf9 Fix autocomplete 
There were two issues:
* The people_list population changed and I failed to noticed
* Typeahead source updating never worked before because calling .typeahead()
  more than once does not change the data source
