Anders Kaseorg f3726db89a js: Normalize strings to double quotes.
Prettier would do this anyway, but it’s separated out for a more
reviewable diff. Generated by ESLint.

Clara Dantas e1e755c887 people.js: Change functions to return a list of ids instead of objects.
The get_active_humans and get_non_active_humans functions used
to return a list of user objects. The get_active_humans is used
on settings_users.js and settings_bots.js, and in both places the
only attributes needed of the person object are the user_id and
full_name.

To make the function return smaller, instead of a list of active
humans, we are returning a list of active human ids, saving memory.
With the ids we can call the people API to get the full_name attribute.

Rohitt Vashishtha 1091615b17 edit-bot: Show dropdown list widget for selecting owner.
This commit removes user_dropdown in favor of the common

Steve Howell 9f137c3a05 bots: Extract user_dropdown widget.
We use this new widget in bot settings panels
(personal and org). It lets you re-assign a
bot to a new human user.

Ideally we can improve this code to use
our existing list widgets to make it more
performant for realms with lots of users.

Steve Howell 2272c5e6eb modals: Use selectors for open_modal/close_modal.
When reading the calling code, it's helpful to know
that we're really just passing in a selector. The
calls to open_modal/close_modal are nicer now to
reconcile with surrounding code, and you don't have
to guess whether the parameter is some kind of
"key" value--it really just refers directly to a DOM
element.

There is nothing user-visible about this change, but
the blueslip info messages now include the hash:

    open modal: open #change_email_modal

Anders Kaseorg 28f3dfa284 js: Automatically convert var to let and const in most files.
This commit was originally automatically generated using `tools/lint
--only=eslint --fix`. It was then modified by tabbott to contain only
changes to a set of files that are unlikely to result in significant
merge conflicts with any open pull request, excluding about 20 files.
His plan is to merge the remaining changes with more precise care,
potentially involving merging parts of conflicting pull requests
before running the `eslint --fix` operation.

Armaan Ahluwalia 6d255efe4c app: Prepare JS files for consumption by webpack.
This commit prepares the frontend code to be consumed by webpack.

It is a hack: In theory, modules should be declaring and importing the
modules they depend on and the globals they expose directly.

However, that requires significant per-module work, which we don't
really want to block moving our toolchain to webpack on.

So we expose the modules by setting window.varName = varName; as
needed in the js files.

Abhijeet Kaur 6869e6a1ec bots UI: Create a new bot switches tab to "Active bots".
Creating a new bot (by filling out the bots related fields and clicking
"Create bot" button) changes tab from "Add a new bot" to "Active bots".
This is done to make users know/confirm that the bot has been created and
the user can view it in this tab.

Abhijeet Kaur 343cb20d57 bots: Move "Add a new bot" to its own tab in settings UI.
"Add a new bot" UI used to be common in "Active bots" and
"Inactive bots". "Add a new bot" UI was below the list of all
active/inactive bots.

If there were more than a few bots was more than four, then the user
had to scroll down the entire list of bots to "Add a new bot", which
was annoying. This new model makes the UI look cleaner as well.

Add 'Type of bot' option for bots by adding dropdown option in
settings->"Your bots". For now, this allows creating incoming webhook
bots in addition to default bots.

This will enable users to add a bot as an incoming webhook
(in addition to add full-featured bots).

With various minor tweaks and cleanups by tabbott.
