Google has removed the Google Hangouts brand, thus we are removing
them as video chat provider option.
This commit removes Google Hangouts integration and make a migration
that sets all realms that are using Hangouts as their video chat
provider to the default, jitsi.
With changes by tabbott to improve the overall video call documentation.
Fixes: #15298.
Use read-only types (List ↦ Sequence, Dict ↦ Mapping, Set ↦
AbstractSet) to guard against accidental mutation of the default
value.

Fixes#2665.
Regenerated by tabbott with `lint --fix` after a rebase and change in
parameters.
Note from tabbott: In a few cases, this converts technical debt in the
form of unsorted imports into different technical debt in the form of
our largest files having very long, ugly import sequences at the
start. I expect this change will increase pressure for us to split
those files, which isn't a bad thing.

This commit adds an integration for Thinkst Canaries - physical, VM and
cloud-based canaries for detecting attackers to a network. Thinkst
Canaries can send webhook alerts when canaries have been tripped, and
this integration will post Zulip messages when these webhooks are
received.

Integrations can be supplied a logo parameter which is used to contruct
their `logo_url`. It would be useful to store this parameter, instead of
computing the path from the URL.
This adds a webhook that can be used to interpret standard Slack
payloads. Since there are a ton of existing Slack integrations out
there, having a webhook which can accept standard Slack payloads can
significantly ease transition pains. Obviously this can't do everything
that Slack payloads can (particularly WRT their widgets/interactions),
but we can ingest text and parse out multi-block payloads into a message
relatively reasonably.
When creating a webhook integration or creating a new one, it is a pain to
create or update the screenshots in the documentation. This commit adds a
tool that can trigger a sample notification for the webhook using a fixture,
that is likely already written for the tests.
Currently, the developer needs to take a screenshot manually, but this could
be automated using puppeteer or something like that.
Also, the tool does not support webhooks with basic auth, and only supports
webhooks that use json fixtures. These can be fixed in subsequent commits.
Semaphore has currently has two different versions of their product -
Classic and 2.0. This commit adds support for Semaphore 2.0, along side
Semaphore Classic, using the same webhook. This would let the integration
work seamlessly for users who have already configured a Zulip integration in
their Semaphore 2.0 projects.
Semaphore 2.0 currently only supports GitHub and their payloads do not
contain URLs for common entities like commits, pull requests and tags. We
construct URLs for them using templates, but also try to support other
services by providing notifications without URLs.

Django 2.2.x is the next LTS release after Django 1.11.x; I expect
we'll be on it for a while, as Django 3.x won't have an LTS release
series out for a while.
Because of upstream API changes in Django, this commit includes
several changes beyond requirements and:
* urls: django.urls.resolvers.RegexURLPattern has been replaced by
django.urls.resolvers.URLPattern; affects OpenAPI code and related
features which re-parse Django's internals.
https://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/28593
* test_runner: Change number to suffix. Django changed the name in this
ticket: https://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/28578
* Delete now-unnecessary SameSite cookie code (it's now the default).
* forms: urlsafe_base64_encode returns string in Django 2.2.
https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/2.2/ref/utils/#django.utils.http.urlsafe_base64_encode
* upload: Django's File.size property replaces _get_size().
https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/2.2/_modules/django/core/files/base/
* process_queue: Migrate to new autoreload API.
* test_messages: Add an extra query caused by .refresh_from_db() losing
the .select_related() on the Realm object.
* session: Sync SessionHostDomainMiddleware with Django 2.2.
There's a lot more we can do to take advantage of the new release;
this is tracked in #11341.
Many changes by Tim Abbott, Umair Waheed, and Mateusz Mandera squashed
are squashed into this commit.
Fixes#10835.
In integrations.py we have a class called Integration which we then usually
subclass and then use to define the meta-data for all of our integrations.
Now, we want to allow all of our bots, specifically incoming webhook bots,
to be configured (i.e. we should let the user provide BotConfigData).
For this we create a new instance member of the Integration class called
config_options which will be a list of tuples containing the displayable
integration name, the configuration key form of the integration name and
the validator that it's value is supposed to adhere to.
The current code looks like it's trying to redirect /integrations/doc/email
to /integrations when EMAIL_GATEWAY_PATTERN is not set.
I think it doesn't currently do this. The test for that pathway has a bug:
self.get_doc('integrations/doc-html/email', subdomain='zulip') needs a
leading slash, and putting the slash back in results in the test failing.
This redirection is not really desired behavior -- better is to
unconditionally show that the email integration exists, and just point the
user to https://zulip.readthedocs.io/en/latest/production/email-gateway.html
(this is done in a child commit).
Django’s default FileSystemFinder disallows STATICFILES_DIRS from
containing STATIC_ROOT (by raising an ImproperlyConfigured exception),
because STATIC_ROOT is supposed to be the result of collecting all the
static files in the project, not one of the potentially many sources
of static files.

The github-services model for how GitHub would send requests to this
legacy integration is no longer available since earlier in 2019.
Removing this integration also allows us to finally remove
authenticated_api_view, the legacy authentication model from 2013 that
had been used for this integration (and other features long since
upgraded).
A few functions that were used by the Beanstalk webhook are moved into
that webhook's implementation directly.
Adblock Plus's "Block social media icons tracking" setting blocked
integration logos for social media platforms from loading, so the logos
are renamed to bypass this.
Fixes#11590.
Rishi and I decided that it makes sense to get rid of the Facebook
integration for a few reasons, some of which are:
* The setup process is too complicated on Facebook's end. The users
will surely have to browse Facebook's huge API reference before even
having a vague idea of what they want.
* Slack chooses not to have a Facebook integration, but relies on
Zapier for it. Zaps that integrate with Facebook are much more
streamlined and the setup process isn't as much of a pain. Zapier's
Facebook Zaps are much more fine-tuned and there are different Zaps
for different parts of the FB API, a luxury that would likely span
2K+ lines of code on our end if we were to implement it from
scratch. So, I think we should relegate integration with Facebook to
Zapier as well!
* After thoroughly testing the setup process, we concluded that the
person who submitted the FB integration didn't really test it
thoroughly because there were some gaping holes in the docs (missing
steps, user permissions, etc.).
This commit:
* Removes the unnecessary screenshot.
* Reorders the instructions and combines them in to 4 steps.
* Improves the contents of the webhook-url-with-bot-email-indented.md
macro and makes it more consistent with create-bot-construct-url.md.
* Sets the recommended stream name to "commits", since that's what
the webhook function for Beanstalk expects in
zerver/webhooks/beanstalk/view.py. This allows us to use the
create-stream.md macro.
This adds UI fields in the bot settings for specifying
configuration values like API keys for a bot. The names
and placeholder values for each bot's config fields are
fetched from the bot's <bot>.conf template file in the
zulip_bots package. This also adds giphy and followup
as embedded bots.
This is just a basic Dropbox webhook integration. It just
notifies a user when something has changed, it does not
specify what changed. Doing so would require storing data,
as Dropbox API was created mainly for file managers, not
integrations like this.
Closes#5672
An Integration object doesn't need access to the context dict used
to render its doc.md, since the context dict is just passed directly to
render_markdown_path.
Instead of populating the context dict with integration-specific
information in render_markdown_path, we now do that in
zerver.views.integrations.integration_doc instead.
Fixes#7401.
Tweaked by tabbott to use cast to handle the typing issues here.
Previously, to check whether a logo file existed, we simply took
the static/ URL for the logo and treated it as a file path. This
led to problems when static/* was not the correct parent directory
for our static files (for example, when settings.PRODUCTION = True).
Now, we treat URLs and file paths differently and the logo file
path is constructed by joining settings.STATIC_ROOT and the
relative path to the logo file.
