Previously, two borders were applied on the heading of tables
in informational_overlay. Top of the heading element had one
border from "table" and one from "th" element. Bottom of the
heading had one border from "th" element and one from "td"
element.
This commit fixes it by changing the CSS for borders on
"th" element to be applied only on striped tables without
borders (i.e. tables having "table-striped" class but not
"table-bordered" class) as bordered tables already have
top borders defined on td and table element while on
striped tables without borders, only bottom border is
applied on "td" elements along with the top and bottom
borders on "th".
This commit re-adds bootstrap CSS rules with "table-bordered" class
to app_components.css so that tables used in the app can use this
css and we can remove the CSS from bootstrap.css.
This commit adds support for following a topic from the topic
three-dot menu in the left sidebar.
Three options, i.e., 'Mute topic', 'Unmute topic', and 'Follow topic',
are shown at the top of the menu (in the mentioned order), regardless
of whether the stream is muted or unmuted.
We can no longer set the topic's visibility_policy to INHERIT
(the default value) from this menu.
The changes are visible in the development environment only.
Fixes#25917.

This commit adds filter_text_input class to various search inputs
used across the app. This new class is used to re-add the bootstrap
CSS rules such that we can remove the CSS from bootstrap.css.
`Lighter` for this icon gets converted to 100 font weight, but the
visual difference starts to appear only after 500 font weight so,
we keep at 400 to begin with, which is what we support.
Keyboard navigation has been added to the scheduled messages modal
in this commit. The solution is based on the `modals_handle_events`
function from the `messages_overlay_ui.js` module, as well as some
helpful functions from the same module.
Fixes: #25181.
This commit adds the new users icon and uses it in the
recipient dropdown, both in the selection options and
the selected option displayed on the button.
We now show the stream privacy type icon for the option
selected in dropdown list widget.
This commit also includes a minor CSS change to make the
web-public better aligned in the dropdown list widget
"Move topic" and "Move message" modal. There is no visible
change for other pages and other icons due to this CSS
change.
Fixes part of #22355.
This will help up achieve 2 things:
* Have a lot of common CSS for drafts and scheduled messages.
* Have common JS for things like keyboard navigation between drafts
and scheduled messages.
This commit fixes the vertical alignement of globe icon in
inline_decorated_stream_name template by setting it using
relative units instead of px so that it is better aligned
at multiple places with different sizes.
The dropdown-menu for "Who can unsubscribe others" was not wide
enough to fit the options in stream creation form. This commit
fixes it to be wide enough to fit the options like we do in
stream edit form.
The dropdown menu for notification stream, default code block
language, etc. was not looking good for short options due to
width being set to fit-content. This commit adds min-width
property to make them look good for short options as well.
postcss-preset-env transpiles this back as necessary. (It does a
better job than we did, in fact: we had several four-argument hsl()
calls that should have been hsla().)

We now set the width of dropdown menu opened for dropdown-list-widget
elements such that it is enough for all the options. For smaller
screens the dropdown menus are wide since the settings panel and
modal content can be scrolled horizontally.
This change is done only for dropdown-list-widget elements in
"Organization settings" panel and in bot-owner widget in bot edit
modal.
We don't do this change for move topic modal now as it cannot be
scrolled horizontally and appears beneath the button due to position
property.
This commit adds inline_decorated_stream_name component
which is used to show stream name along with its privacy
type icon. This component is added such that we can align
the icon and stream name properly as there are many
instances where the icon and name are not aligned in the
current UI.
This component is only used in "Archive stream" modal for
now and will be used for other UIs as well in future.
Ever since we started bundling the app with webpack, there’s been less
and less overlap between our ‘static’ directory (files belonging to
the frontend app) and Django’s interpretation of the ‘static’
directory (files served directly to the web).
Split the app out to its own ‘web’ directory outside of ‘static’, and
remove all the custom collectstatic --ignore rules. This makes it
much clearer what’s actually being served to the web, and what’s being
bundled by webpack. It also shrinks the release tarball by 3%.
