From 3173db37f7904221c95f4b9b1c4e2bcd73fda6b6 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Tim Abbott Date: Tue, 16 Aug 2022 15:01:56 -0700 Subject: [PATCH] docs: Remove documentation for ROOT_DOMAIN_LANDING_PAGE. This is not a feature intended to be used outside zulip.com, since it just sets your server to have the zulip.com landing pages. I think it's only been turned on by people who were confused by this text. --- docs/production/multiple-organizations.md | 5 ----- 1 file changed, 5 deletions(-) diff --git a/docs/production/multiple-organizations.md b/docs/production/multiple-organizations.md index 6a408a66ec..d19b038f8e 100644 --- a/docs/production/multiple-organizations.md +++ b/docs/production/multiple-organizations.md @@ -45,11 +45,6 @@ things: authentication method, review [the notes on `SOCIAL_AUTH_SUBDOMAIN` below](#authentication). -For servers hosting a large number of organizations, like -[zulip.com](https://zulip.com), one can set -`ROOT_DOMAIN_LANDING_PAGE = True` in `/etc/zulip/settings.py` so that -the homepage for the server is a copy of the Zulip homepage. - ### SSL certificates You'll need to install an SSL certificate valid for all the
