# Stream notifications
You can configure desktop, mobile, and email notifications on a stream by
help: Update stream-notifications to reflect new default notif behavior. Just updating this to no longer be incorrect; I expect we'll update this and the rest of the Notifications section once we're done with the larger notifications refactoring project.

notifications settings for the stream.

These settings only apply to streams where you have not
explicitly set a notification preference.
